Perfect sizeI have to admit that I liked this net at first. I purchased mine in February of 2009 for my 8' bed truck, which it fit pretty well. It is wide and long enough to stretch over a lot of cargo and the hooks could be maneuvered to inner rows for smaller loads. I liked that the size of the gaps are consistent unlike some cargo nets that are narrower in the center but have large gaps at the corners.However, over the course of a year, the plastic hooks regularly broke, one by one. It was very frustrating. The final straw, however, was when the net pretty much disintegrated. It was just over a year old. I like it when things last. This didn't.
Doesn't Last
We used this cargo new over our 5x10' open trailer on a 2,000 mile trip. It really helped. First we tarped the load by attaching the tarp with bungees, then we securely attached the cargo net over it. The net prevented the tarp from coming loose. It was a good thing, because between the sleet and snow, the cabinets we were hauling would have been ruined. Thanks to the netted tarp, the load remained completely dry - even after we left it outside for a week.

NOT MACHINE WASHABLE!I purchased this for my older dog who has "accidents". Anyway, the mat worked great the first time. However, as soon as I washed it the waterproofing material began to fall apart on the bottom side of the mat. I did not put in the dryer, only washed it. It is no longer usable as a waterproof cover. Do not buy this if you plan to wash it!!!
Great inexpensive alternative to expensive custom cargo liners
I have a fold down third row in my car and I wanted something that would be easy to move if I needed to use the third row. I also wanted something waterproof and easy to clean (think sandy beach toys, dirty sports equipment, shedding dog, etc)This liner is perfect. If I need to use the third row I just roll up the liner and it fits behind the seats (not a possibility with a rubber liner). There are fixed velcro strips on one side of the liner which I actually stick to the back of the second row to create a lip to keep any dirt on the liner.There are additional velcro strips included that you can attach to any part of the liner to make sure it stays in place. I havent used them. I like the fact that the edge closest to the hatch isnt attached to the floor so I can easily flip it up and access my SUV's storage compartment under the cargo area.I do wonder if over time the velcro will start to pull/fray the material on the cargo floor/seat back if it is...

the liner is good quality material and workmanship.Pro:+ liner is heavy enough to prevent moving around.+ velcro strips on underside help a lot.+ liquid barrier on underside a plus, although not tested (i hope).con (sort of):+ i have a ford escape and the liner this size (didn't see any longer sizes on amazon) is not quite long enough. however, it's not a problem as i have had the front half of a dog hammock in use for some time to protect the backs of the front seats and it underlays the front of the new liner.

06 Lincoln LT how to lift up/ remove cargo bed cover?
I recently received this truck and I'm going on a camping trip this weekend. I don't know how to life up the cover on the cargo bed in order to fill it with materials that i will need for the weekend. thanks.
the LT did not come with a cover. someone had to have put it on. i know because i installed one for the dealer. most covers have a key hole in the top to unlock it. i have seen 1 or 2 that you had to drop the tail gate first and open it from the inside.
