Great addition for motorcyclesI mounted these on my motorcycle and couldn't be happier. All though they are advertised for off-road, they are great for adding lots of light to a dark distant highway. I see lots more deer, long before they can jump in my path.The lights energize and light up pretty fast. The ballasts are inside so they were an easy replacement for the halogen lights they replaced.If you do get these, be careful in aiming them, and dip them for oncoming traffic. They are seriously bright
Awesome brightness!
These lights are awesome!They are top notch quality. They come with an excellent install kit and were packaged quite well. I haven't installed them yet, but I did "bench" test it and compared it to a KTM oem fairing light and hands down the Warn kicked it's butt. I'll be installing these on a street bike.My only complaint is that Warn does not give any technical info such as max and min voltages, minimum and max operating temps and amperage draw. All super important when installing these on bikes, atvs that have minimal amperage electrical systems. I emailed Warn prior to purchase and was emailed a sales brochure. Of course it didn't have any of that info. It comes with a 15amp fuse, so I'd make sure you have some room in your electrical system for it.I'll try and remember to update this after mounting them and running them for a while. Don't go cheap! Buy quality, because it does count!

good lights for the price.Well i bought these to install on a 700 raptor quad to use for riding in the desert at night. I took them out to johnson valley, ca and they survived the desert trails at high speeds. i even jumped with them and nothing seemed to break. the amount of light they produce is good enough to be able to go 40-50 mph on the rough trails and i would say 65mph on the even gravel trails. Make sure you add loctite to the bolts or they will fall off with the vibrations. I will edit this review if they break on me without abuse.
great lights for price
had four of these lights on front of a semi truck excellent visibility with them i wrecked (totaled)the truck two of the lights took the blunt of the impact all it did was break the rock guards. i put them on the replacement truck and they work fine without the rock guards. I'm looking forward to putting two more sets on.
Good product, only need better handling/packaging
I got mixed feelings for this light. First, packaging failed to properly protect its glass covers and it arrived scratched (see uploaded image) in both units (I ordered 2)! I've uploaded one image where it is possible to have an idea of the damaged area in the shield.Next, it would be cool if Amazon offered together with a pair of lamps the wiring harness/relays/etc.Light's startup is quite fast (it will take a few seconds for warming up and stabilize, way better than those el cheapo HID kits that takes long to stabilize and sometimes keep flickering). And boy, it certainly is bright (so much that you can't stand looking at it directly in a short range).Installing may be more appropriate in a bull bar or in the car's top, since it has 8 inches (20.32cm) and will not fit in any place easily.

THE BLACK AND RED WIRES FROM THE HELLA BALLASTS THAT GO TO THE KC WIRES (THAT CONNECT TO THE RELAY) HAVE MALE SPADE CONNECTORS ON THE END BUT THE KC WIRES HAVE MALE BULLET

Off road lights/ winch wiring diagram?
i have a 09 frontier, im in the process of lifting it, bumpers, roof rack, LIGHTS, etc..
i have a warn 10000LBS winch, and 6 Lightforce HID off road lights,
i want the winch on the front (obviously) along with two of the 9 inch HID's on
I would use 12 gauge wire, It's better to have more than what's really needed knowing the vehicle will be used off-road more. In other words: too much is better than not enough, or just enough.
On a other note; I would think about an auxiliary

Philips has never in fact produced a specific HID Kit for Motorcycles, they have only made after-market HID Kits for cars and trucks, well we have been able to create a Motorcycle HID kit that actually includes Philips HID Bulbs. The new motorcycle HID Kit will have Genuine Philips HID Bulb, the actual same bulbs that come in the typical Philips HID Kits and will also include a RSI Premium DSP Digital Slim HID Ballast. Motorcycle HID, or Motorcycle HID lights have not been as prevalent in contrast to automotive HID Kits but Philipshidkits. There is now a much better choice for Motorcycle HID and Philips HID Kit Store is the leader in offering best excellent Xenon HID Conversion Kits.
