slight modifications madeWhen I first got this winch plate I thought it looked pretty nice. After I installed it with my winch I realized the front plate was so wide I had no room to reinstall my stock tow hooks. I ended up cutting about 4 inches off each side of the front plate to make room for the stock tow hooks to go back in their original location without being blocked by the plate. Over all this is a heavy duty plate and all the welds look like they were done by robots. It is a very nice piece of equipment.

installing bumpers on a jeep wrangler TJ?
Do i need to worry about airbag sensors or triggers? I dont want to be setting my airbags off while im doing this....anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for the input!
The sensors aren't in the bumpers - wrench away.
If you're still concerned, disconnect the neg. battery terminal and wait 5 minutes for the airbag capacitor to discharge.

what is the metal tube that goes through the front bumper on a jeep wrangler tj, it has a slight bend in it?
im not sure if i am describing it good enough, it is a 2001 jeep wrangler tj sport. it is a stock bumper, right now it you can swing it up and down, someone help, thanks
The metal tube up front is actually your front frame support! I have a feeling that you're actually talking about the metal "bar" or rod that's attached to your frame towards the bumper. This is the "sway bar" and prevents your vehicle
