Awesome!
I was initially skeptical about this bumper because the picture on Amazon does not show the most current version and the price seemed way too low as compared with other outlets. I did some research on the Smittybilt website and made the decision to go ahead and purchase this bumper. I was immediately impressed by how rapid Amazon shipped the bumper and how quickly I received it , all without paying one dime for shipping. Once I opened the well packed box I was excited to see it does have light mounts and the weld lugs for clevis installation. It is exactly as the Smittybilt website shows. Installation was a breeze. I had it installed in less than 15 minutes and that even included removing my factory bumper. Wow! Great product and sharp look for the Jeep. Thank you Amazon and Smittybilt. It is refreshing to receive such excellent service.

great value, good bumper
I have had all kinds of trucks and jeeps. All kinds of gear from stock to expedition/overland rigs. This is a great light weight, well made, winch ready bumper. Even with 6" Hella spots on the built in light bar the do not stick up (no back light blast)

Nice clean look
The SRC series bumpers and armor are a nice addition to any Jeep Wrangler. Good quality and nice finish. The Smittybilt 2801 Black Winch Plate fits right in for mounting your winch, and there's 4 mounts for your fog and/or off road lights. (2 on the hoop and 1 in each of the 'triangles' on either side of the hoop.)If your thinking about getting the SRC series for your rig, stop thinking and do.

Smittybilt SRC Front Bumper
The Smittybilt SRC Front Bumper has been an amazing addition to my 03 jeep wrangler. As soon as I installed this bumper, people couldn't stop staring at it as I drove around town. It is truly a unique and functional front bumper. This bumper includes mounting tabs for 4 auxiliary lights, two on the sides and two on the center hoop, as well as two 1 inch thick steel tabs for your D-ring or Clevis shackles. Also includes a spot for a winch plate and winch. My approach angles have also been increased due to the design of this bumper. You don't realize how much a bumper can make a difference until you ditch the factory bumper for this one. It so easy to install just use a torx bit #55 and remove the six factory bolts. Take off the old bumper and put the new one in place with the factory hardware. I can't speak highly enough of this bumper, and recommend it to anybody reading this review. rustoleum paint textured touch up
Bumper arrived in good condition via fedex on time, with one small scratch and rustoleum textured paint covered it no noticeable difference. When speaking to manufacture was told it came with winch mount. Note: winch mount is extra didn't come with it, as was told by manufacture. Over all a great look and 4 tabs for off road lights. My friends say I got my girl friend a boob job and she looks hot. It's a jeep thing. i would recommend this bumper great look and very rugid easily installed in 10 min. looks great and functions exellent with smittybilt rc8000 winch.

Ended up good but a lot of unanticipated work.
Bought this for a stock 2012 4-door Rubicon.Instructions are pretty straightforward but ended up encountering an unpleasant 'surprise' during installation of this 'bolt on' kit.The problem was an electric vacuum pump and its mounting bracket just inboard of the driver side frame horn behind the bumper. The pump had to be removed, the mounting bracket cut from the frame, the winch plate installed, then the mounting bracket for the vacuum pump welded to the inner bracket of the winch plate.The bolts that secure the inner brackets to the frame require some creative use of sockets, universal joints, extensions, etc to tighten. There is very limited access to the bolt heads as they end up inside the frame rail.Overall, the presence of the vacuum pump turned a one-man, two hour job (with hand tools) into a two-man, 6 hour job requiring a welder, a grinder equipped with cutoff wheel, and a more comprehensive set of tools.I like...

You'll be glad it's a Warn when you REALLY need it!
I've been off-roading for more than four decades. Bikes, buggies and now, a 4x4. Never really thought I needed a winch until I got the 4X4, but since my Trooper weighs in at around 4,500 pounds, I knew there was no way I could get out of a "sticky" situation without a winch. I run in sand at Hatteras, hills and woods at Wind Rock and make the occasional trip to CO to explore old mining trails and hunt for ghost towns. And I always travel alone. So, one of my first purchases for the Trooper was an ARB bullbar and a Warn M8000. That was in 2002. Oddly, since then, I haven't had a desperate need for a winch. Oh, there have been numerous times when I have had to clear a large branch or tree from the trail, but I've never been stuck, so I never had a chance to put the M8000 to the test.Then, this Spring, I had a 70', 18" diameter black pine break in a windstorm and fall into the lake near my boat dock where we live. Does what it says
This is the best basic winch you can get. Don't be fooled into buying any of the cheaper ones. Learn from my mistakes. It does what it says it does. Pulls four tons. Has paid for itself in my case with one emergency use. Had to pull and lift 2.5 tons which it did with ease. I would recommend having a snatch block and either a chain or heavy strap to give more options when needed. It is not always possible to get the truck with the winch in exactly the right spot. The snatch block allows for more choices.

Great product
I almost bought this from another retailer but decided to go with Amazon since their customer service is so good. I'm glad I did. The first winch didn't work. Amazon sent another winch overnight had UPS pick up the broken winch. I love Amazon.
