Jeep Grand Cherokee Running BoardsI had a hard time finding any pictures of a 2011/12 Jeep Grand Cherokee with any running boards installed to get an idea of how they would look on my 2012 vehicle. The only pictures I did find were not focused on the running boards or were very indiscernible as they were distant shots of the vehicle. I finally tracked down a couple decent pictures on a Jeep dealer "for sale" ads and decided that the OEM running boards, called "side steps" looked the best and claimed to be "bolt on" meaning that I didn't have to drill or fabricate any brackets. I took a chance and bought the chrome running boards. To my surprise they arrived a few days earlier than forecasted and in perfect condition. No dents, scratches or mars. I was extremely happy to be off to a good start. A word of caution; when you open the shipping box to inspect your inventory, do not empty the bracket boxes as they are marked front, center, rear and you don't want to mix your brackets up. Nice Addition!
These running boards make an attractive addition to our Jeep Grand Cherokee. We took them to a local garage for installation and mentioned the marked bracket boxes (as noted by Ron from GA). The installers appreciated this information as a heads up. These boards are pricey, but really accent the JGC.

I will be getting a new car in january and I have been considering the a 2011 jeep cherokee. Is that a good car? Does it drive well?
I've had mine for just over 2 weeks, so I cannot say on reliability, however, it is amazing.
I came from a 2005 Audi A4, and the Jeep (Laredo X) is better in every conceivable way.
