Okay, I admit it. I bought these, not so much because I'm worried about protecting the paint on the door sill, but because they look cool. Don't tell anyone, I added something to my Jeep for show. ;)The price is a little high I think, but it's really not that bad. Even though they're made of plastic, they definitely have a heavy-duty feel to them. They are a perfect match to the JK door sills, and you don't have to worry about positioning them perfectly -- the shape makes them only fit in one exact spot on the sill. That's great for someone like me that would otherwise actually spend a LOT of time making sure that they are both perfectly even with each other.They come with a little alcohol wipe that you can use to clean the sill before applying them. Wipe it down, peel off the paper on the tape side, and press it down on the sill. Done. Takes 20 seconds per side.I think they look great. I always thought that area looked unfinished, but now it...

Great value for the price
These look more expensive than they are. They were incredibly easy to install, maybe 5 to 10 minutes and they still look great a week later. Still stuck firmly.

Provides some much needed space!
I love my Jeep, but often became frustrated with the lack of space, particularly somewhere to stash the phone, a pen, etc. The Rugged Ridge dash organizer solves all those problems. I wish you could put the smaller tray on the passenger side, but it is not possible because of interference with the airbag. Making use of already existing holes in the Jeep means even my husband and I could install it in a little under an hour. Worth every penny.

Great Addition
This product shipped fast and very easy to install except for the small space available to screw in one of the sides. Other then that great product, looks great. I use it for my phone, pen, notes, gps, and other things the jeep had no where els of puting. Does not obstruct your view or the vents to the defrosters!

Works great; this item is a pair, though.
Chalk it up to another "I didn't read all of the fine print" mistake. I ordered two of these, but you only need one, since they are sold in a pair.That's OK; I used the other two to make seat belts for my daughter's Barbie Corvette. Barbie is frequently seen driving off of a cliff (our kitchen table), so a four-point harness is a necessity.These work great on our '92 Jeep Wrangler, and keep the door from swinging all the way around and hitting the hood. 5 stars!

Better than the original
My door strap broke and this set of 2 is adjustable unlike the original.- My doors don't swing as wide as they used unless I move the post to a different loop- They work perfectly

Works as advertized
Worked great on my jeep to keep the doors from banging into the sides of the carport. I'm giving it 4 starts only because they were kinda long for my Jeep ('97 Wrangler). At the longest setting, I could swing the door almost all the way around. But I suppose I could always cut them and burn the ends to keep it from fraying. Great product!
