Light Filter is a Godsend for my Class
I have eight flourescent lights in my 1st grade classroom, and I bought one set of these tranquil blue light filters to try in my room last year. (The store only had one package in stock.) I have looked everywhere for another set, because they made such a difference!! I think the filters had a tremendous calming influence in my class. I also have autistic children mainstreamed into my classes, and it REALLY seemed to help them settle down. I have also noticed over the years that students get headaches in the afternoon (I know I get them from the flourescent lights myself), and we did not have nearly as bad a problem last year with headaches. I HIGHLY recommend this product, especially if you have a lot of children with ADHD or autism. They were also incredibly easy to put up, because of the magnets in the edges & on the corners. They fit perfectly on the lights, and went on, literally, in seconds.

a necessity
I teach high school, and lately, with budget cuts, I have 35 students at one time. I put these up last fall to ease the glare (mostly for me), and I just love them. The kids are calmer, and with 35, I don't even want to think of how it would be without them! I plan to get some for the social worker, and principals office.

Great for diffusing intense office florescent lights
We recently moved to a new office building where there are WAY too many bright florescent lights, directly above our workspaces. After attempting to work for 3 days, I started looking for a product to diffuse the light so that it is not so blinding, as I had a headache all day every day.After finding these, and installing them in less than 30 seconds, my workspace is a nice diffused shade of blue. "Tranquil" definitely is a good way of describing them! My co-workers all loved it as well and plan on buying some for above their desks.Before purchasing, I would make sure that your light fixtures are metal so the magnets to install these with will work. Not sure if all of them are metal, but I was worried that ours were not once I realized how these install (luckily they were).

excellent addition to massage therapist office
My clients love the abidance. It gives extra pizzas to the office. They still prefer softer light when they are receiving their massages.This tones the brightness a bit, but not like the low watts lights.This is perfect light for some things--the intake interview for example. It was easy to install.

Cloudy without a chance of glare
The default lights in the office were ridiculously bright and left glare on all screens. These fluffy cloud inserts make me feel like I'm running across a field on a warm fall day.

As described!
These cumulus-I cloud panels are great for looking up at. Easy to install in my standard 2x4' fluorescent kitchen light fixture. The light is soothing and looks great. When it's rainy outside I still have a sunny day inside.I think they're a bit expensive but have no idea what it cost to manufacture.

Tiny fan, moves a lot of air
This fan works great! I installed it last night. It spins very quickly on its highest setting, and it moves a lot of air for its size. The bulb socket is a miniature Edison base rated at 65W, so it may be a bit dim for larger rooms.I hooked this fan up to a fan/light control switch on the wall, so I wanted to remove the pullchains. To do so, perform the following BEFORE MOUNTING THE FAN and AT YOUR OWN RISK:* Remove the three screws that hold the light socket over the housing, and pull open the cover.* There are a bunch of wires and wire nuts that attach the fan speed pullchain, fan direction switch, and light pullchain together.* Unscrew the fan speed pullchain switch and the light pullchain switch. Yank all the wires out of both switches.* The black and blue wires go straight through the fan to the other side - they're coming directly from the source.* To bypass the light pullchain, connect the blue wire to the black wire of the light...

Great Size - Noisy
If you are purchasing this just based on the size and appearance, the fan is great. I think the thing is noisy and has a constant low level hum. I have 4 other Hunter fans in my home and all are extremely quiet - Unfortunately, this was the only one I could find in this small size so I was limited to Westinghouse. It went into my daughter's room and she says that I am the only one to notice the hum so I guess it's OK for 50 bucks.

I am surprised by the noisy comment. I installed this fan in my daughters bedroom and I hardly notice it's on. It has worked out quite well and the instructions were great.

Not worth the box they put it in
Wish they had a zero rating. This was the poorest quality fixture I have purchased in my lifetime. The lamp sockets are very poorly mounted. One of the socket mounts was broken. I spent a half an hour securing it with a small screw, only to find out that the socket itself was broken and would not except a bulb. I took it down and put it where it belonged....in the trash.

You get what you pay for - and this product is cheap
This light fixture is very inexpensive and deservedly so. It is very poorly made and did not even survive shipping. The lens is very thin and fragile and hard to get off of the base. Of course, once the small crack from shipping turned into a major fracture and the lens was in pieces it came right off. It also does not come with bulbs, which is not clear in the on-line information. This was not a good purchase decision for me.

Cheap Features on this Cheap Fixture
Get out your glue if you plan to use this Lithonia 3348 Lighting Two-Light Fluorescent Ceiling fixture. I bought two of the units and both were broken before I had the chance to install them. The plastic contact holders for the bulb are much too flimsy to handle the weight. On one fixture, the end broke before I could install the bulb. I glued it back into place and it now works fine. On the other, it was broken before it came out of the box.
