Bulldog KE1702 - clean, simple, exactly what I was looking for
The 95 Accord I recently purchased had standard power locks. However, the driver's door had been tampered with to the point that the cylinder was totally disconnected from the lock, forcing me to have to go around and unlock from the passenger's side every time. Needless to say, this was quite annoying. After considering trying to fix the mechanical parts, I stumbled across this unit and figured it would be a cheap, practical way to bypass the problem entirely while adding more overall convenience to the vehicle. Amazon delivered it promptly as always, and it was exactly as described and pictured. I chose to install only the basic lock/unlock functionality as I have no need for light flash, starter kill, etc. So far the unit performs perfectly in this capacity. Range is at least 25-30 feet, even without the antenna wire installed in a straight line as they suggest. The remotes seem to be high quality: the buttons are soft but firm rubber, and the case has a rubberized feel and a tiny...
A breeze to install...
Very cheap, easy to install keyless entry. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars it that out of the box, the range was horrible (10-15ft.) Not sure if this is a problem with old batteries, or if it just has poor range. Update: The unit has now ceased to work at all. Still getting good power and ground, but unit refuses to operate. Dissapointing since I haven't had it very long.
Easy to install, good range
The unit was easy to test and install and has a range of about 100 feet. For basic testing, temporarily connect the power and ground wires and listen to internal relay clicks while pressing lock and unlock buttons on one of the remotes. To get a good range, it is important to place the antenna wire as close as possible to the top surface of the dashboard so that there is no or little metal between the antenna and the dashboard plastic. The package includes a relay for "starter kill". If you do not need that function, you can use the relay to take advantage of other capabilities that require a separately purchased relay (e.g., parking light lock/unlock confirmation). The instructions in the documentation for pairing the second remote are apparently outdated. Here is a modified version that worked for me. Press and hold the "lock" button on an already paired remote for about 10 seconds until you hear an internal relay click inside...

Bulldog - Poor Electronics
DON'T BUY THIS JUNK! I purchased a Bulldog Remote Talking Alarm that slowly died over a period of three days and then stopped working completely. It started out with a short range of about 60 feet that continued to shrink until I was standing directly in front of my truck, about one foot. All functions stopped completely on the third day. I returned the unit and in about three weeks I was sent a brand new one. This one was worse. All it does is say "Thank You" after connecting the positive lead to the battery. I must point out that I know what I am doing when it comes to electronics. I have worked in electronics for 30 years, hold an FCC license with Radar Endorsement and I have taught electronics in New York City for five and a half years. For two units to be bad this quickly (brand new) tells me that Bulldog electronics are unreliable and a waste of money. I am not going to put any more of my time and money on shipping the bad unit...
Not too Bad, But not very loud.
I installed the Bulldog alarm and am happy that the volume is loud and is a detractor to those that may try vandalism or theft.

Does OK for what it costs....
I have had 2 of these alarms installed to two different vehicles during the last 5 years or so. One was returned for a full replacement within the first year...replacement is still in use. The other started to drain the battery on the vehicle it was installed in after maybe 4-5 years...so I've just bought a new replacement. I find these alarms easy to install...but I hardwire them to the battery...and do not use the clip. There is not usually a lot of room under the hood of most vehicles...and the small size of this alarm is a big advantage. 2 wires to connect...one to the battery...one to ground...stretch out the antenna. I try to mount them pointing down in an area free of high heat or water spray. I've found that the range stated for the transmitter is probably more like 100'. The remotes are very rugged..if it gets wet...just dry it out...and the battery lasts a long time...have had no issues with the buttons. At times this alarm can...
Bulldog Remote Vehicle Alarm System
It's the simplest Alarm I have ever seen. Install Red Clip to Positive of Battery and Black wire to one of the Screws provided to mount Base of Alarm to Vehicle and that's it. The Alarm is louder than I thought it would be, no problem hearing it from a great distance. Great Alarm for the Money!!!!
Just what I needed
After someone cost me over $500. in tire repairs by repeatedly puncturing my tires I had enough... I bought this Bull Dog alarm and left it in it's most sensitive settings and problem solved. It would've gave it 5 stars if only the alarm was louder.

Bulldog is good stuff
I have used several Bulldog systems and have had good luck with them all. Because they are sold in local stores, auto parts stores and Meijers, I have replaced remotes without shipping. I have one like this now and am ordering another for my wife's new Lincoln. The only problem I've had is on my car which I park all summer, the remote eventually drains the battery. Unpluging the connector from the unit solved that problem.Uses AAA battery so replacement is easy and cheap. Range is good and they offer wiring diagrams and manuals on the web.
Great product, poor support
This is my second 500 Deluxe so far. The product works well, the first one I have had in my other car for over 5 years, paid the same then as I did this time too. Both times I had it installed by a professional, did not dare mess with the transponder system. I must note though that trying to call Bulldog for help, is like pulling bulldog teeth. No one ever has called me back for a few small issues I have. If you are thinking of installing this yourself, be warned.A nice change is that now the box offers "professional installation" by InstallCard. At least there is something in the box outside, and in the manual. Unfortunately the InstallCard itself was MIA, could not find it... Anyways, I called them and scheduled it, price to install was reasonable. An unexpected cost is the transponder bypass module, the one that does not require a key. I unfortunately don't know which specific model was put in by the installer, but it must be similar to...

In Athletic Director Greg McGarity’s letter of explanation to the SEC Commissioner Mike Slive, dated May 27, he explains that Richt accidentally sent two text messages from his Blackberry to the father of football prospect Jordan Jenkins of Harris... ” Richt intended to forward the text to a recruiting assistant for identification but accidentally replied to Mr. Jenkins, which was a violation NCAA Bylaw 13. Since Richt did not have the number programmed in his phone, the text was identified as “unknown. In the first instance, Richt received a text from Ron Jenkins asking for camp dates.
