I have an 2011 Toyota Sienna and had this professionaly installed with a idatalink bypass. All went well and took around 4 hours. Alarm has great range, many features, sesitivity is nice and self adjusting.two paging remote is easy on the eyes and easy understandable. To change features or functions I suggest that you read the manual well, it has many features that customizable. I dropped the remote on the streets of hard concrete and was concerned that it was damage but to my surprise there was no harm what so ever. If I had another vehicle I will choose this remote time and time again. I see no differece in the phython 991 which was installed in my wife vehicle, same features and great distance. Found no cons yet.
Great features for a low price
I bought this unit as a gift for my fiance's 06 cobalt. It has many of the upper level features that you will find in higher end Directed Electronics units (Viper, Python, etc) for a fraction of the price. The quality of the transmitter and the rest of the brain is awesome and from what I can tell it is built just as well as any other alarm out there. I will say that it is not a good idea to try to install it yourself if you have no experience with these type of things, there are forums out there that will get you started ( the12volt.com for example) but some of the more advanced capabilities of this unit will require additional knowledge of car electronics. The range on the transmitter is outstanding as well and it holds a charge for well over a month at a time. RecommendedI have found this to be the best of three different after-market TPMS that I've tried. This valve attachment location has proven more durable than the band technique. The simultanous four-time readout is more user-friendly than those readouts that require a button to be pushed repeatedly to change among multiple tires. This unit has proven appropriately sensitive to low tire pressures on multiple occasions. Economical. Highly recommended.
A must if you have full time all wheel drive...
...and highly recommended if you don't. Bought this device from another online vendor because Amazon had not yet started carrying it. This one gets only 4 1/2 stars because depending on where you place it, the display might not be readable in bright light conditions. However, the audible alarm will promptly alert you of anything headed south with your tire pressures.(UPDATE Dec 04, 2011: As of this date, I still own this Subaru and have put an ADDITIONAL 100,000 miles on it since the failure of the center differential that was suspected of being caused by one chronically low tire over the first 80,000+ miles under the most extreme of driving conditions with no hint of the second differential encountering a similar issue. While the potential consequences for damaging an expensive drive line component in an AWD system due to one low tire would appear to be arguable in theory as discussed by one knowledgeable commenter, the tolerances in today's AWD...

After having read reviews and researched Hella TC-400 and Orange Electronic P409s kits, I decided on the P409s because it is less expensive, less complicated to install, displays 4 tire pressure readings simultaneously and has one small display unit (vs a display unit AND receiver that the TC-400 requires). I installed the sensors myself onto brand new 18" BMW aluminum alloys and had my shop use a dial-type torque wrench to torque the valves (included in the kit) down to 4 newton meters (~35 inch pounds), exactly as the Orange Electronic P409s manual states. If you don't have a dial type torque wrench (not clicker), then you'll need one to install this kit. I then had them mount the tires on and as soon as they pressurized the tires, the sensors turned on. Better than expectedThree holes into my first round with the new watch (a Christmas present to myself), it dawned on me that this is cooler than I had imagined. I predict two years from now, this is the new rangefinder technology.For the past several years, I have been a big proponent of the laser rangefinder, arguing with my gps rangefinder friends that the laser is more accurate to the pin. After my round today, I am not sure I will ever pull my laser out again. The convenience is unbelievable. I just look down at my wrist, and I have my distance to the front middle and back. I look in the cart at the pin sheet, and subtract or add for a perfect distance. No reaching in the glove box of the cart or fumbling around for a device.Even cooler, and more used than I anticipated, is the function that lets me measure the distance of my shot. Great Product! I love it!
I love this product. I've had the Skycaddie and the Garmin larger units and I didn't realize how much of a pleasure it would be not to have to go around to the side of the cart to look at the yardage. Also, the readout on the watch is a lot easier to see than the screens of the larger units. The guy complaining about the differences in yardage must be a very accurate golfer. For me, a few yards difference is not going to matter. Although I question whether sprinkler heads are that accurate. I have checked the SR watch against the hand held and usually they are the same or within a yard or two. The downside is you don't get the detail eg, distances to hazards or specific spots on the course that you can get with the handheld Garmin. Another negative is that the other guys in my foursome are always criticizing me for checking my watch for the time.
Poor Battery Life
I love the watch and find it works wonderfully. The interface is poor - too much button pushing - but it works and there are few reasons to push any buttons on the course. You can measure your drive or move from the hazard backward to your ball - that takes button pushing. It finds all the golf courses without all that computer loading. The major defect and it's major is that the batteries won't last for 36 holes. It's a one round device and you better remember to recharge it or you won't have a device for the next round.
Is Alarm System in Car Effective to Scare Thefts ?
I have got my car broken in twice within one year in the same neighborhood. Now, I need an alarm system. Theft took my sub-woofer in a SUV 8 months ago, and my car stereo and GPS navigation were taken this time. I do not know if these two are related.
well you don't want to just scare them off the will just be back .. my advice is to install a alarm that has a pager unit . this way you know when your car is being tampered with before they get into it . when it triggered it dead bolts the doors

Is buying a new car with a GPS worth it?
I'm shopping around for new cars and I think I've found the one that I really like. I was looking at the 2011 Toyota Highlander SE 4x2 which can come with a GPS unit built into the dash. My question is, should I pay the extra $3000 for this upgrade, or
They sell for under $100 all the time. You tell me.
Of course, I would never buy a new car either.
