LOVE IT!!!!!!
I really love this product. My daughter loves being able to take her dolly along with her when she rides her bike. MUCH safe to have a secure place to put her dolly when she rides too - and she no longer asks to hold it while riding (which I feel would be dangerous). She also had so much fun decorating it too. What a great find! I would highly recommend this product to everyone!

Loves It!
My daughter saw another bike that came with a seat like this, but the bike was for toddlers. She wanted a doll carrier seat so badly and when I saw this on Amazon, I knew it would be great. It is the perfect size for stuffed animals and her American Girl doll. She was so excited about it and all of the other little girl's moms wanted to know where I got it. It attaches to the bike very sturdily as well.

Wonderful!
I wanted to get something for my ten month old so I could ride my bike while my three year old rides his. We have a trailer but I wanted to try a seat because I thought it would be easier than dragging the trailer out- especially just for riding slowly around the neighborhood with a three year old!The front kind seemed like a good idea. The whole reason I bought a trailer in the first place was because I was afraid of my balance being thrown off with a bike seat. This front mounted seat is super for balance! I felt very comfortable with my daughter up front and she loved it! We just went for a test run around the block after installing it.I was able to install in less than 20 mins with a 10 month old crawling around. So I'd say it was pretty easy. It's also very easy to remove the seat when you don't want it on your bike.I was a little afraid of how my knees would hit the seat but I figured for the price I would just order it and give it a...

A Safe Way for you to take your kids riding
I have been looking for a way to take my 2 1/2 year old riding with me. The salesperson at my local bike store refused to sell me a back mounted infant seat because they are so dangerous. I don't want a trailer which are safe, but I enjoy riding the many fire trails by our house.So this was a great fit.PROS1) easy to attach- I also switched screws and bolt from the front/back attachment as the seatpost of my TREK needed the bolts from the front attachment.2) comfortable ride- my daughter is very comfortable and the center of gravity is outstanding... I don't feel unsafe on the bike3) Easy to remove- there is a screw that once you unscrew it you can take the chair off and you can ride normally.CONS-1) The seat belt system stinks- It is really bad and not very safe.2) Going up hill is tough- definitely be in shape for those uphills, more then 2x as tough...but it is a great workout3) You can't use clipped pedals-...

Great child's seat-unless you are a petite person!
The seat is wonderful-it just was not made to be used with a petite rider I guess. I am 5' tall, and when the seat's foot rests are in their fully-extended position, they interfere with my steering mechanism-making it very dangerous for me to make turns. The seat itself is right in my gut. I can lean on it to push it forward, so it isn't too awful, but the worst part is that in order to pedal, I have to extend my legs outwards. It is a terrible strain on my knees and makes this a very uncomfotable-and sometimes overly painful experience.

good rack, MTX is cool, but there are better if you don't need MTX
If you need a rack for your bike, this appears to be a decent rack. However, I honestly have to say that it's not quite as nice as my old Bontrager "Back Rack 2" that this one is replacing. Let's start with the good:- STURDY. My old rack only had two vertical supports, this one has three. Feels much more substantial. That's bad if you're a weight weenie, but good if you want to carry stuff and feel secure that it's not going anywhere.- MTX track system is awesome. This is the whole reason that I got this rack, so that I could use a Topeak trunk bag. This is also one of those good/bad things however, as the Topeak trunk bag forces you to use the Topeak rack - there are no attachments on the Topeak trunk bag at all other than the MTX rail (if they still included velcro tie-downs, you could strap it to *any* rack, which would be nice if you had more than one bike, wanted to loan it to a friend, etc.) I haven't actually used it yet (so I'm holding off on...

Great rack but check your bike first
I love this rack. Sturdy as all heck once installed properly. Unfortunately I didn't realize the rack was made for bikes with seat stays which my Trek didn't have. After a couple of trips to the local outdoor store, I finally stopped by a proper bike shop and picked up a Blackburn Monostay Rack Adapter. It took me nearly an hour to get everything properly installed but once installed the rack didn't move. I use this rack with a Topeak DX bag (with panniers). The bag has QuickTrack and is super-sturdy on this rack. Highly recommended.

Complete package including washer, pin, and hitch.
This part is identical to the hitch couplings that come with the InStep trailers other than it is a gloss black instead of a more matte black finish. One thing not mentioned in the product description is that this incudes not only the coupler and pin (as pictured) but also the special "washer" that mounts behind the hitch to keep it horizontal.Often a concern or issue with the cheaper trailers is if they will properly mount to more "high end" bikes. The garden variety mass market retailer bikes (i.e. the cheaper ones) usually have a horizontal dropout for the rear axle where the more expensive bikes will have a vertical dropout for the axle. The hitches are designed with mass market retailer bikes (horizontal dropouts) in mind.These hitches will work on either. With vertical dropouts rather than following the directions provided, you must instead position the tab that sticks off the back of the washer so that it will rest against the bottom of the frame...

Not to well thought out.
I've used this product twice and so far so good. Note to anyone buying this, you might have to do some altering to get it to fit (depending on your bike). I have three more recent bike models. All of which are geared, with quick release and of varying frame materials. Out of the box it fit none of them. My wife's bike which is around 8 years old worked fine. Since I was the one who was going to be doing the pulling, I had to make some serious changes to make it fit my bikes. After an hour of fine bending, grinding, sanding, painting and testing. I was able to get it on any of m y bikes.The part is made of a soft alloy and made alterations easier, but I'm not sure how it effects the overall integrity of the product. After everything's said and done, more updating and R&D should have been applied to this product, but hey for $9 you can't really expect much.

Easy and quick to install
I bought this so we could pull our child trailer with both mine or my wive's bike. Takes only a small adjustable wrench to install. The lock pin U-clip is very firm. Best part of this setup is the child trailer will not tip over if you dump your bike.
